Not so Interesting Seascape Shoot in Sembawang Beach

I was just so curious about what to shoot in Sembawang Beach. If someone says a word beach, one thing crosses my mind that it would be a perfect idea to shoot seascapes/landscapes.

To my surprise, when I arrived in the place, I saw gigantic heavy equipment and cargo ships on the sea. I really had no choice but to get as much photos as I could even if I was not that really enthusiastic about taking photos of heavy equipment and cargo ships.

Sunset in Upper Seletar Reservoir

I was very excited to get out from work on a Saturday to take some sunset pictures. Since that was my first time in Upper Seletar, I nearly lost my way getting through there. I took a very long bus trip coming all the way from Kranji. Though I haven’t been in that place, I wasn’t sure of the exacts spots that I should be taking. I will be back in this place soon for re-takes. Continue reading Sunset in Upper Seletar Reservoir

Marina View from One Fullerton

Last week I asked one nice blogger Dominic on how was he able to get a picture of Marina Bay from Fullerton Bay Hotel. He gave me few tips how to get there. So last Tuesday October 1, I decided to get my gears out and snap the lovely scene. Although, I couldn’t wait for the light show, I just snapped away the Blue Hour. You can find Dominic’s version at his blog postContinue reading Marina View from One Fullerton

Punggol End Beach (revisited)

I just decided to take another beach sunset and blue hour photos, and this time it was at the Punggol Rd End. The last time I went here was 2 years ago. As usual, this was taken with my well-trusted Nikon D7000 and Tokina 11-16mm. Although, the tide was low and waves are minimal, I was still able to capture decent sunset and nightscape photos. Continue reading Punggol End Beach (revisited)

Chinese Garden (revisited)

I decided to drop by in Chinese when I was to anxious what is going on during the celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. To my surprise and disappointment, I also saw those Jurassic things in Chinese Garden. They placed few dinosaurs inside yet not too attractive. The organizer actually rented the whole place so I had to pay the entrance for about $12.00.  Continue reading Chinese Garden (revisited)

Changi Beach Sunset with Myke

I actually invited a few people to take sunset and blue hour photographs in Changi Beach, though that time Mykel is the only person who was available. We were actually expecting a very nice sunset because the weather was just good to capture the sunset. The shoot turned sour as when the time the Sun comes to plummet, there was a huge pack of clouds that obstructed the lovely sunset.  Continue reading Changi Beach Sunset with Myke

Passing by China town

I was anxious what it looks like when Singapore celebrates the Mooncake Festival and so decided to go China town. What actually caught my eye is this huge structure which is the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple which its people decorated the porch with lanterns. I had to make my way into a nearby residential unit (HDB) to take a good vantage point. Continue reading Passing by China town

Passing by Clarke Quay

I saw some nice landscape photographs in Flickr of Clarke Quay. This made up my mind to decide to take too. However, I wasn’t able to take much and the weather is not too cooperative to give me nice results. I’ll be back to get more photos soon. Continue reading Passing by Clarke Quay

Changi Boardwalk revisited

Despite the unpredictable weather yesterday, I still chanced to go to Changi Beach Club and snapped the lovely sunset and bluehour. There are still many spots in Changi Beach Club which I haven’t taken. Changi Beach Club indeed is one of the beautiful and relaxing places in Singapore.  Continue reading Changi Boardwalk revisited
